Rooms & Historic Architecture
Built as a private house in 1914, Abbey House Hotel retains Edwardian luxury with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Rosette-accredited Oscar's Restaurant offers an award-winning menu with extensive dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can start their day with a full English breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients, and later enjoy flexible dining menus that cater to dietary restrictions. Afternoon tea is also available, and the restaurant regularly hosts events and activities throughout the year.
Weddings & Special Events
Abbey House Hotel is a dedicated wedding and event venue, with experienced coordinators like Lauren and Laura providing exceptional planning services. The hotel can host ceremonies and receptions in its 14 acres of gardens and historic rooms, with tailored menus and signature cocktails. Guests should note that functions with live music may take place until midnight, so the hotel recommends calling before booking to check for scheduled events.
